BEAUMONT – The Lamar Institute of Technology Beta Gamma Phi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society inducted 66 new members on Oct. 22 in a ceremony at the Multi-Purpose Center.
Phi Theta Kappa serves to recognize and encourage the academic achievement of two-year college students. It is the largest honor society in American higher education with more than 2 million members.
